「Stewart Island to Invercargill to Te Anau」
８月１０日 スチュワート島～インバーカーギル～テ・アナウだぞ
↑I wrote down my thanks in Japanese, English and Tongan in a guest book. I have to leave. Time flies when you are having fan. Of course I drew the YAMANEKO picture in it.
ゲストブックにお礼を日本語・英語・トンガ語で書きました。帰らねばなりません。楽しい時間が経つのは早いものです。もちろん山ネコも書きました。

↑From a ferry, I saw the sunrise which came from the horizon. It was very beautiful.
フェリーから、水平線より昇る朝日を見ました。とてもキレイでした。
↑I got a little seasick. After I arrived at Invercargill I ate a noodle soup at Noodle Canteen. It was nice.
少し船酔いしました。インバーカーギルに着いた後、Noodle Canteenでラーメンを食べました。おいしかったです。
↑Because I had more than 3 hours until departure, I got a rental bicycle and went to the walkway, which is close to the airport, but it was just windy and the water was very dirty.
出発まで３時間以上あったので、レンタル自転車を借りて、空港近くの歩道へ出かけました。ただ風が強いだけで、水は汚かったです。
↑I have not bought any soft drink by vending machine for nearly 2 years so I was so nervous but I tried to buy it. First, we insert 2 dollars coin, and then push a button which we want. Finally, the soft drink comes to the outside. Amazing!! This machine can sell a soft drink without people’s help. I managed to buy it from the high technology machine. It’s a good exercise for me to prepare to go back to Japan.
２年近く、自動販売機でジュースを買っていませんでした。緊張していましたが、買うよう試みてみました。初めに２ドルコインを入れて、好みのボタンを押します。最後にジュースが外に出てきます。すっげ～！この機械は人間の助け無しにジュースを販売できます。何とかこのハイテク機械を使えました。これは日本に帰るための良い練習です。

厳しい練習の後、他の方向へ行きました。Donovan公園です。川のある風景は素敵です。職場のある長野県もたくさんの川があります。まぁほとんど急ですけどね・・・。
↑Around 3:30, I left Invercargill. On the way, I changed my bus at Gore. I didn’t leave my camera and passport.
３時半頃、インバーカーギルを出ました。途中Goreでバスを乗り換えました。カメラもパスポートも忘れませんでした。
↑At 6:30, I arrived at today’s accommodation, YHA Te Anau.
今日の宿YHAテ・アナウに着きました。
↑First, I went out for having dinner but I couldn’t find a good one, so I ate fish & chips. I ate it beside the Te Anau lake.
初めに夕食を食べに出ましたが良い場所を探せませんでした。だからフィッシュ＆チップスを買って、テ・アナウ湖の近くで食べました。
↑Snow mountains were shining thanks to the moonlight.
雪山が月明かりで輝いていました。
↑I want to meet the old married couple, whom I met 12 years ago. If they are alive, they must live in this town. I stayed at their house at that time, and I remember I walked around with the town map from their house, so their house is close to my accommodation. Unfortunately I cannot remember the place.
１２年前に会った老夫婦に会いたいのです。生きていたらこの町に住んでいるに違いありません。彼らの家から町の地図を持って歩いて廻ったのを覚えているので、宿の近くなのです。残念ながら場所が思い出せません。
↑I met this nice guy Petr who is a Czech. He had been in Australia almost for 1 year and studied the martial arts. On the way back to his country, he is traveling in NZ now. He was in Hawaii as well and thanks to the Japanese in Hawaii, he can speak Japanese well. We talked a lot, and I gave him No.298 YAMANEKO doll. He was really pleased. When you came to Japan, please bring it! Keep in touch.
ナイスガイに出会いました。ピーターさんはチェコの人で、オーストラリアにほぼ１年間いました。武道を習っていたようです。国への帰り道にニュージーランドを旅行しているそうです。ハワイにもいて、日本人のお陰で日本語が話せます。たくさん話して、山ネコNo．２９８をあげました。喜んでくれました。日本に来た時は持ってきてくださいね。連絡とりましょう。
