6th Jul. What’s happened?

What’s happened?
7月6日 なに?

Around noon, I went to Air New Zealand airline company to book the ticket to Japan. I am arranging the Japanese abacus camp in August. I was surprised that compared with last year, the airplane ticket is much more expensive. Actually I came here 1 week later than last year, but I cannot believe it. Last year it was 6,000 pa’anga(300,000 yen) and this year it has become 8,000 pa’apnga (400,000 yen) for two person.

At 4 o’clock, Sefo and I called on Pone at the school’s office. A great problem has happened. Thanks to a poor decision of the Ministry of Education, the abacus education in Tonga may be over. The very important person Sefo may be forced to move to another post. It’s too silly so I cannot explain any more today, because I am very angry at this situation. How poor the decision is! That’s why this country cannot develop.

After the meeting, Hiko and I cheered up Sefo and brought him to his house in Fahefa village.

At 9 o’clock, I went to the JICA dormitory and called Miwa. After that I talked to Hirono and Kimika about this situation over Skype. Hirono may come to Tongatapu tomorrow, because it’s an emergency.
By the way, Hirono’s image photo on Skype is so sexy that all of the volunteers are fascinated by it.
