17th Sep. Farewell Party

Farewell Party
9月17日 送別会だぞ

In the morning, I gave No.317 YAMANEKO to Hiromi who came from Burkina Faso last month. It was the 6TH YAMANEKO which I gave out to the Burkina Faso volunteers. She will finish her activity as a Tongan volunteer member in January. Good luck!

I went to markets with Kimika to buy some souvenirs. I bought a lot of bookmarks and coasters.

By chance, we met Melissa at the Talamafu market. She was taking pictures for going back to America. We can say Melissa and I are almost the same group. I will leave here this next week and she has only 2 more months.

After the market, we visited the place, which a bingo game is held. Its appearance is strange, but actually it was funny. It was my first time to come here. I should have come here when I came to Tonga in 2009.

After the bingo game, I called on Jac and gave No.318 YAMANEKO doll. We love a bicycle and he is supposed to come to Japan and move from the south part to the north part with a cherry-blossom front by bicycle. See you again in Japan.

At 5 o’clock, I visited ‘Olini café and we had our group’s farewell party. Oh, it’s our turn at last. Before the party, I gave No.319 YAMANEKO to Yuuki, and gave 320 YAMANEKO to Shoko.

A lot of volunteers came together and maintained us.

Matazo and Yuka played a flute and the other members sand a song. It was nice.

We are 21-2 members. Thank you for your kindness.
